Initial Information: Call received from Police advising of a road traffic collision involving one overturned vehicle and two occupants trapped.
Updated Incident Information: 17:01 - Two vehicles involved in road traffic collision. One vehicle is on its side with one person trapped. Four casualties in total with two being assessed by the Air Ambulance and extrication is in progress. Police and ambulance are in attendance. The Ashby Road has been closed in both directions.
17:10 - One casualty has now been extricated from the vehicle and is being assessed by Air Ambulance crews. Two ambulances are also in attendance.
17:22 - Two casualties from overturned vehicle are now being conveyed to the Queens Medical Centre. A further two casualties are being treated at the scene by the ambulance service. The overturned vehicle has been made safe by the fire service.
17:32 - Fire crews are assisting the Police in removing the overturned vehicle from the carriageway.
