Initial Information: Call from Leics Police reporting a single car RTC - car into glass door of shop, no persons trapped, no injuries. Police on scene.
Updated Incident Information: Upon arrival incident confirmed as single car into building, no persons trapped however gas leaking from gas main. Assistance message for an additional pump, Technical Rescue Team and also Cadent Gas.
Fire Service made vehicle safe, hose reel jet and main jet laid out ready as a safety precaution due to the gas leak. 3 occupants of vehicle receiving first aid treatment from EMAS. Police evacuating small number of properties between Stanfell Road and Gainsborough Road.
06:00 road will remain closed for 2 hours, crews standing by awaiting arrival of Cadent Gas dig team. 1 female casualty taken to LRI.
