Domestic violence is an incident or pattern of incidents of controlling, coercive, threatening behaviour, violence and abuse between those aged 16 or over who are or have been, intimate partners or family members regardless of gender and sexuality.
Domestic abuse can include but is not limited to the following:
- Physical abuse, isolation and control, emotional abuse, sexual abuse, financial abuse, forced marriage, honour based violence, female genital mutilation, harassment, stalking, online/digital abuse.
