Leicester City Centre


Central Fire and Rescue Station was built between 1925 and 1927, officially opening in July 1927. A major refurbishment of the station was completed in 2010. The station is a listed building. The station covers Leicester city centre and all of the major risk within the city. The stations attends a variety of incidents from high-rise incidents, domestic dwelling fires to road traffic incidents.

Crews have been busy this morning at a road traffic collision between Burleys Island and Belgrave Circle.

Central Station are attending a Multi Agency Awareness Day at Devonshire place, London Rd.
This is a Community centered event and we will be here till 3pm offering advice and help to the public and other agencies.
