Hinckley and Bosworth District

Located in the centre of the village, Market Bosworth Fire and Rescue Station provides fire and rescue services to the local community via the crew of On-Call firefighters who respond via an electronic pager when their services are required. The station has a single Scania fire appliance which is equipped to deal with the wide range of incidents attended by the station. Market Bosworth Fire and Rescue station and the On-Call crew maintain excellent community links with a regular charity car wash and annual Community Station Open Day, as well as links with Bosworth in Bloom and other local initiatives. On-Call crews train on a Tuesday evening at the station. If you would like any more information on joining as an On-Call firefighter visit our recruitment page or call in to the station on a Tuesday.

Please do what you can before a fire - so if it happens the impact is as small as it can be.

When heavy lengths of hose are not practical, where you want to blanket a fire to reduce the risk of re-ignition, when you want to conserve water, “Compressed Air Foam” (CAFS) ticks all the boxes. Berryfield Lane in #Bray today. LFRSBosworth photo
