Believed Cause: Accidental - Discarded smoking material

Initial Information: Call received from occupier reporting a fire within a bedroom.

Updated Incident Information: Upon Fire Service arrival, confirmation of smoke issuing from first floor window and all persons accounted for. Four Breathing Apparatus, Two Hose Reel Jets and One Covering Jet in use to extinguish the fire.
Two pet cats have been rescued from ground floor.
One male casualty with slight smoke inhalation being assessed by EMAS.
Fire extinguished, all Breathing Apparatus withdrawn and property being ventilated using positive pressure ventilation.
