Updated Incident Information: Upon arrival, incident confirmed as an RTC, 2 cars involved, 2 persons trapped, 2 casualties in total. Fire Service commencing extrication of 2 casualties, with full roof removal of 1 car.
19:12 1 casualty extricated from vehicle by Fire Service, 1 further casualty still trapped - extrication still in progress. Fire, Police and EMAS all in attendance.
Both casualties now extricated, 1st casualty taken to Queens Medical Centre, Nottingham by Ambulance. 2nd casualty in care of EMAS at scene
