Here at Leicestershire Fire and Rescue Service we open our doors to everyone in their local community at Community Station Open Days throughout the year at many of our Fire and Rescue Stations.
These hugely popular days feature various events and activities, allowing you to meet your local firefighters and see your local station. Their overall aim is to promote fire safety messages engagingly by incorporating lots of fun activities for kids and adults, including:

- Smoke House Challenge
- Specialist Appliances and Equipment
- Rescue and Fire Demonstrations
- Bouncy Castles
- Meet the Search and Rescue Dogs
