About the Hazard Express – The Virtual Insanity experience
Leicestershire Fire and Rescue Service leads the way for road safety, utilising emerging technology to engage, entertain and educate young and experienced drivers. Our new, first-of-a-kind road safety vehicle called the "Hazard Express" – The Virtual Insanity Experience is the first in the drive to reduce the number of Killed and Serious Injuries on the UK's roads.
Hazard Express - The Virtual Insanity Experience
The occupants will experience the horrors of a road traffic collision in a controlled environment and the consequences of driving too fast and irresponsibly. After experiencing the VF4 package, drivers will better understand the very real risks associated with driving or travelling in a vehicle that is being driven by a person who takes unnecessary risks. To create the Hazard Express's distinctive styling, we took an unassuming red IVECO van and created a rusty urban monster – guaranteed to grab the attention of our target audience!
