Initial Information: Call received reporting a 3 vehicle RTC on the M1 Southbound.
Updated Incident Information: Update 13:54:
2 x cars involved in RTC. Motorway on the southbound all 3 lanes are closed. No persons are trapped. Highway's are currently also in attendance and are relocating car in Lane 3 to the hard shoulder to open motorway.
14:07: Vehicle that was in Lane 3 has now been re-located to the hard shoulder by Highways. Both vehicles have been made safe by Fire Service crews. 2 x Casualties being assessed by Fire Service, awaiting the arrival of ambulance. Lane 2 and Lane 3 have now been opened Southbound. Lane 1 remains closed and is being managed by Highways.
STOP 14:21: Both vehicles have been made safe and Incident has now been handed over to the Highways Agency.
