Damage: Slight fire damage and moderate smoke damage to conservatory
Believed Cause: Accidental due to unattended candle
Initial Information: Occupier reported smoke inside dwelling
Updated Incident Information: On arrival, Incident Commander confirmed single storey dwelling, fire located in conservatory to the rear of the property. 2 Fire fighters in breathing apparatus took 1 hose reel into the property and confirmed the Fire Out On Arrival.
Fire crews used positive pressure ventilation fan to clear smoke.
Public Statement Issued: Fire Service recommend that candles and naked flames are never left unattended.
