Believed Cause: under investigation.
Initial Information: Call received to a fire in the open, potentially a barn on fire.
Upon arrival a first impression s message was received advising one building well alight, shortly followed by an assistance message to Make Pumps 3 for personnel.
Updated Incident Information: Police were requested to assist with closing the road.
23:39 - Assistance Message: Make pumps 4 for personnel and Water Carriers x 1
23:46 - This is an industrial building used for storage. Police and Fire in attendance. 2 x Main Jets and 2 x Hose Reel Jets in use. The Incident has also been sectorised into two sectors.
00:05 - Fire is now under control with 2 x Main Jets and 2 x Hose Reel Jets. Cows from an adjacent building have been moved into an empty field. Electrics have been isolated locally. The Water carrier is no longer required at this incident.
00:36 - Fire now believed extinguished and fire crews are damping down using 2 main jets and 2 Hose Reel Jets. Hiab in use to remove metal sheeting to dampen down hotspots.
01:01 - Crews continuing to dampen down using 2 main jets and 2 x hose reel jets. Fork Lift being used to remove unaffected stock from adjacent building.
STOP 02:33: Damping down is now being completed with One Main Jet and 2 HR Jets.
